Scope of responsibilities

 

  • Work independently and plan tasks effectively
  • Ability or willingness to operate an overhead crane and forklift
  • Perform precise and accurate work while maintaining the required pace
  • Evaluate new products, estimate production methods and lead times
Sought-after competences
 
  • Diploma in metal forming techniques or equivalent experience, or experience in the metal industry combined with general machine operation, or experience operating a bending machine
  • Good command of English
  • Willingness to perform heavier work
  • Category B driving license - preferred

  • guaranteed 38 hours of work per week
  • attractive salary: €17.50-€19 gross/hour
  • meal vouchers €6.55/day (of which €1.09 = personal contribution)

  • opportunity to work overtime with 150% pay (overtime is paid almost tax-free for the first 180 hours of the year)
  • CAO90 bonus (Belgian bonus system)

  • Annual bonus - based on the year worked (8.33% of gross annual earnings) - provided you work at least 65 days between July of the current year and June of the following year
