Car mechanic

Place of work: Den Bosch, Veghel, Waalwijk, Goes, Roosendaal, Breda, the Netherlands

car repair, vehicle diagnostics, car service, oil change, engine repair, brake system, vehicle maintenance, tire replacement, suspension repair, computer diagnostics, workshop work, exhaust system repair, car servicing, filter replacement, electrical system repair, technical inspection, engine adjustment, gearbox repair, spare parts installation, mechanical work

Scope of duties

work in a workshop
repair of passenger cars, preparing them for re-sale
service and ongoing maintenance
maintaining the proper technical condition of equipment and workstation
accepting motor vehicles and their assemblies for repair and preparing acceptance reports
determining the causes of faults and damage to individual systems, assemblies and mechanisms of vehicles
carrying out maintenance and anti-corrosion protection of motor vehicle elements and replacing operating fluids
assembly-disassembly of motor vehicles and their assemblies
washing and cleaning parts and assemblies
keeping the workplace clean
compliance with health and safety regulations
quality control of the work performed
work in one shift (8:00-17:00)

Wanted competences

specialized education, at least vocational
several years of experience as a car mechanic
communicative knowledge of English or Dutch
ability to operate tools and power tools
commitment and willingness to work
driving license category B and own car

We offer

long-term employment on Dutch terms

guaranteed 40h of work per week (occasional overtime)
weekly salary: 550-650€ net (with accommodation and insurance; depending on experience)
