Car mechanic

Workplace: Den Bosch, Veghel, Waalwijk, Goes, Roosendaal, Breda, Netherlands

car repair, vehicle diagnostics, car service, oil change, engine repair, braking system, vehicle maintenance, tire replacement, suspension repair, computer diagnostics, workshop work, exhaust system repair, car servicing, filter replacement, electrical system repair, technical inspection, engine adjustment, gearbox repair, spare parts installation, mechanical work

Scope of responsibilities

Workshop work
Repairing passenger vehicles, preparing them for resale
Service and ongoing maintenance
Maintaining the proper technical condition of equipment and workstations
Accepting motor vehicles and their components for repair and preparing acceptance reports
Determining the causes of faults and damage to individual vehicle systems, assemblies, and mechanisms
Performing maintenance and anti-corrosion protection of motor vehicle components and replacing operating fluids
Assembly and disassembly of motor vehicles and their components
Washing and cleaning parts and components
Maintaining a clean workstation
Compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
Quality control of work performed
One-shift operation (8:00-17:00)

Sought-after competences

Minimum vocational education
Several years of experience as a car mechanic
Communicative knowledge of English or Dutch
Ability to operate tools and power tools
Commitment and willingness to work
Category B driving license and own car

Guaranteed 40 hours of work per week (occasional overtime opportunities)
Weekly salary: €550-650 net (including accommodation and insurance; depending on experience)
