For our client - a chain of Dutch car repair shops - we are looking for candidates for the position:

Car Painter

Car painting, surface preparation, paint application, polishing, body painting, paint repair, paint restoration, parts painting, coloring, paint protection, post-accident painting, scratch removal, industrial painting, sanding, coating application, color matching, painting work, paint damage repair, body protection, paint finishing

Scope of responsibilities
  • Determining the scope of paintwork repairs
  • Preparing the vehicle for repair and selecting the color
  • Exposing the substrate (by removing old coatings)
  • Degreasing with appropriate agents
  • Priming the surface with primers or primers with fillers
  • Smoothing the surface with putty and sanding
  • Spraying the paint coating onto the prepared surface
  • Drying the coatings and then polishing them after curing
  • Cooperating with other employees during painting tasks
  • Quality control of paint coatings and completed work
  • Single-shift operation 8:00-17:00
Sought-after competences
  • Relevant education, at least vocational (confirmation of qualifications and/or school completion)
  • Experience in a given position
  • Communicative knowledge of English or Dutch
  • Category B driving license and own car
  • Accuracy, commitment, and willingness to work
