Scope of responsibilities

Preparing and aesthetically serving a la carte dishes inspired by Mediterranean cuisine (Spanish, Italian, Greek)
Preparing simple sushi items (basic experience required)
Collaborating with the kitchen team in planning and implementing seasonal menus and special offers
Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
Complying with HACCP principles and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the workplace
Managing inventory and placing orders with suppliers in accordance with restaurant procedures
Supporting the organization of events and special occasions (including buffets, barbecues, group dinners)
Working independently in the kitchen and effectively managing the assigned kitchen position

Sought-after competences

Minimum 2 years of documented experience as a chef de partie or similar position
Basic experience in sushi preparation
Good command of English
Ability to work independently and in a team
Accuracy and attention to the quality of prepared food
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and maintaining kitchen hygiene
Manual skills and the ability to work under time pressure

Category B driving license

Employment under Dutch conditions
Rate (excluding tips): €17.65 gross/hour - includes holiday and vacation pay.
