For our client - a German company specializing in the service and repair of specialized vehicles, including road tankers, vehicles for the transport of hazardous materials, and vehicles used by uniformed services - we are looking for candidates for the position of:

 

Commercial Vehicle Mechanic
Location: Langenau, Werneuchen, Bad Fallingbostel, Germany

engine repair, vehicle diagnostics, car maintenance, oil change, brake system repair, car service, technical inspections, suspension repair, computer diagnostics, parts replacement, engine tuning, exhaust system repair, vehicle mechanics, vehicle servicing, gearbox repair, drive system repair, alignment, car electrical repair, spare parts installation, workshop work
Scope of responsibilities
  • Performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs of special vehicles, particularly tanks carrying hazardous materials
  • Mechanical work on tanks, including sheet metal processing, fitting, and welding (no welding certificate required)
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electronic faults using modern measuring equipment (e.g., Vartec)
  • Replacing, repairing, and calibrating components of tank systems, pumps, and control units
  • Performing basic work on vehicle control systems and systems
  • Repairing vehicles used by public institutions (including the military)
  • Maintaining documentation of completed work
  • Cooperating with other employees and service management
  • Working within a system single shift (6:00-15:15, 30 min breaks + 15 min breaks)
Sought-after competences
  • Education as a commercial vehicle mechanic, locksmith, or similar qualification
  • Experience working as a commercial vehicle mechanic
  • Category C driving license - required
  • Communicative knowledge of German
  • Own car
  • Accuracy, independence, and a good understanding of technical issues
  • ADR certification - preferred
  •  Basic knowledge of electronics and diagnostic systems is preferred.
  •   Experience in the construction of metal structures or vehicles is preferred.
We offer

  • Monthly salary - €2,900 gross

  • €25 bonus after three months of employment

  • €200 bonus for referring a new employee (paid after hiring and working four weeks)

  • Vacation and Christmas bonuses will be paid according to the schedule and after the trial period.
    • First year: €230 gross
    • Second year: €320 gross
    • Subsequent years: €420 gross
