Job description:

 

  • tying and securing tomato plants to strings or supports
  • removing side shoots
  • ensuring adequate access to light and air circulation for plants
  • maintaining a work pace of 200-300 plants per hour while maintaining high quality
  • monitoring plant health: diseases, pests, abnormal growth
  • maintaining a clean and tidy workplace
  • complying with occupational health and safety regulations and quality procedures
  • collaborating with the team and communicating about work progress
We offer:

 

  • Employment under Belgian conditions (plukkarta)
  • Rate of €12.92 gross/hour - (approx. €380 net/week for 45 hours, after deducting accommodation costs)
  • Working hours: full-time - 45 hours per week (5 days of 9 hours).
  • Possibility of using company accommodation - paid €85/week (double room)
  • Possibility of purchasing additional health insurance - €11 per month

  • Company cars are provided free of charge and equipped with a fuel card

    • Cars may only be used for commuting to and from work
    • There is also the option of renting a bike for commuting

Requirements:

 

  • Experience in tomato rolling – a necessary condition
  • Willingness to perform physical labor in a greenhouse
  •  Ability to work independently and accurately
  •  Motivation, reliability, and good work organization
  •  Basic knowledge of English
  •  Flexibility and availability for full-time work (overtime possible)
  •  Accuracy and conscientiousness in performing assigned tasks
  •  No driving license required
