For our Dutch client – a leader in the aerospace industry – we are currently looking for candidates to fill the position of:

Mechanical Assembler (Aerospace Industry)
Location: Rotterdam, the Netherlands
Accommodation: Provided

Scope of Duties

assembly of mechanical parts and components according to technical documentation
following assembly instructions and safety procedures
inspection of delivered components
assembly of semi-finished and finished products
inspection of subassemblies and completed units
correction of irregularities and defects, as well as preparing finished products for shipment
evaluation and reporting of product quality
adjustment or modifying parts when necessary
working in accordance with the high-quality standards of the aerospace industry
keeping the workplace clean and organized
taking care of tools and production equipment
work in a two-shift system

Required Skills

technical vocational education, ideally MBO+ (preferably in a related field)
ability to read technical drawings and work according to instructions
experience in mechanical assembly (in the aerospace or space industry is a plus)
good command of Dutch or English (reading and speaking)
interest in machinery construction or aircraft maintenance
accuracy, diligence, and responsibility
strong teamwork skills
willingness to work in a two-shift system
valid driving license category B
