For our client – an industrial warehouse – we are looking for people willing to work in the following position:

Order picker

Workplace: Gent, Belgium

order picking, warehouse work, packing goods, sorting products, preparing shipments, operating a scanner, inventory, inventory management, warehouse work, warehouse logistics, quality control, order picking, manual labor, goods issuance, preparing products for shipment, loading and unloading, warehouse organization

Job description:

order picking
preparing finished pallets for shipment
unloading goods, checking quality
sorting and moving goods within the warehouse
work in a fixed morning or afternoon shift (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM or 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM)
work from Saturday to Wednesday, with Thursdays and Fridays off

We offer:

Employment under Belgian conditions
Rate:€15.49 gross/h (salary paid weekly)
Shift allowance: +7% - €16.55 gross/h
Holiday allowance - 15.38% of annual gross earnings
Work from Saturday to Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays off - Sundays paid additionally
Annual bonus - 8.33% of annual gross earnings - provided you work at least 65 days between July of the current year and June of the following year
Guaranteed 39 hours of work per week

Possibility to use Company accommodation - €140/week
Food voucher worth €8 gross for each day worked (employee's own contribution €1.09)

Option to purchase additional health insurance - €10 per month
Free transportation to work, use of a company car

Requirements:

Experience in a similar position
Experience operating an EPT truck and a scanner
Communicative English
Readiness to start work immediately
Ease of working in a team, conscientiousness, accuracy, independence, flexibility
Category B driving license
