Order picker (F/M) (Electrical products)

START: Immediately

Work location: Gent, Belgium

order picking, warehouse work, packing goods, sorting products, preparing shipments, operating a scanner, inventory, inventory management, warehouse work, warehouse logistics, quality control, order picking, manual labor, goods issuance, preparing products for shipment, loading and unloading, warehouse organization

Job description:

Order picking (lamps, heaters, grills, light bulbs, outdoor lighting)
Preparing finished pallets for shipping
Unloading goods, checking quality
Sorting and moving goods within the warehouse
Order fulfillment with EPT trolley operation, using a scanner
Working a fixed afternoon shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM)

We offer:

Employment under Belgian conditions
Rate of €16.87 gross/hour
Weekly salary (after deducting accommodation costs and taxes - approx. €365 net/week)
Holiday allowance - 15.38% of gross annual earnings
Annual bonus - 8.33% of gross annual earnings - provided you work at least 65 days between July of the current year and June of the following year
Guaranteed 39 hours of work per week

Possibility of using company accommodation (€130/double room, €160/single room)
Overtime available
Company cars are provided free of charge and come with a fuel card
Cars may only be used for commuting to and from work
Bicycle rental is also available for a fee for commuting
Option to purchase additional health insurance - €11 per month

Requirements:

Experience in a similar position
Experience operating an EPT truck and a scanner
Readiness to start work immediately
Ease of working in a team, conscientiousness, accuracy, independence, flexibility
Category B driving license - required
Communicative language skills English
