Packaging Machine Operator (F/M) Cold Storage (+8°C to –18°C) Workplace: Dendermonde, Belgium

Job description:

Operating modern packaging machines, including their start-up and operation supervision.
Working in a freezing environment (-18°C) or in a cool zone (+8°C).
Replenishing packaging materials and ensuring the continuity of the packaging process.
Responding to irregularities, stopping the machine if necessary, and supporting changeovers and line cleaning.
Checking the quality of products passing through the packaging line and taking action. Corrective Actions
Checking coding on bags, boxes, and labels
Operating an electric pallet truck to load, move, and store pallets
Complying with hygiene and safety regulations and monitoring procedures in place
Performing simple administrative tasks

We offer:

long-term employment under Belgian conditions

guaranteed 38 hours of work per week. Three-shift system.
pay rate: €17-€19 gross/hour (paid weekly). Net weekly wage €500 - €550
Shift allowances: Shift 1 and 2 (morning and afternoon) + 7.5% and Shift 3 (night) + €2.0 gross/h

Food voucher: €8.00 / working day (€1.09 - employee's own contribution)

Holiday allowance - approximately €5,200 gross per year (15.38% of gross annual earnings)
Annual bonus - approximately €5,200 gross per year €2,800 gross (8.33% of gross annual earnings) – provided that:
you work at least 65 days between July of the current year and June of the following year
possibility of transferring to a permanent contract with the company (after one year of service)
possibility of using company accommodation - €130/week (double room), €160/week (single room)
possibility of purchasing additional health insurance - €11 per month
company cars are provided free of charge and equipped with a fuel card
- cars may only be used for commuting to and from work
- There is also the option of renting a bicycle for commuting
Departure date agreed individually with the candidate!

Requirements:

Experience operating production machinery or working on packaging lines and in EPT operation.
Willingness to work in low temperatures: cold storage +8°C and occasionally in a freezer -18°C.
Ability to work at a fast pace and respond to process irregularities.
Accuracy, responsibility, and attention to quality of work.
Ability to quickly respond to machine or process irregularities.
Willingness to work shifts and flexibility in adapting to a schedule.
Good command of English.
Category B driving license.
Ability to work in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations.
