Job description:
  • Operating machines for packaging biscuits, wafers, cookies, and gingerbread
  • Ensuring necessary supplies for the machines (packaging materials)
  • Cooperating with other machine operators
  • Product quality control
  • Compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Work in a two-shift system or a permanent night shift. The rotation system consists of an early shift from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM and a late shift from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The permanent night shift runs from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM (25% bonus).
  • Also available for those with first-time professional experience
We offer:

 

  • Employment under Belgian conditions
  • Pay rate: €17.29 gross/h - €18.00 gross/h (after 6 months of employment)
  • Shift allowances: +12.50% for work on the 1st and 2nd shift (€19.45 gross/h), +25% for work on the night shift (€21.61 gross/h);
  • Salary paid weekly
  • €560 - €575 net/week (with experience), €515 - €535 net/week (no experience required)
  • Food voucher of €8.00/day (€1.09 - employee's own contribution)
  • Holiday allowance - over a year of work will amount to approximately €5,130 gross (15.38% of gross annual earnings)
  • Annual bonus - over a year of work will amount to approximately €2,780 gross (8.33% of gross annual earnings) - provided you work at least 65 days between July of the current year and June of the following year
  • Guaranteed 39.5 hours of work per week
  • Care from a Polish coordinator
  • Possibility of using company accommodation: double room €102 / Weekly, single room €154/week
  • Option to purchase additional health insurance - €10 per month

Requirements:

 

  • Experience in a similar position or willingness to train
  • Good command of English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Independence and good organization of own work
  • Care for order, neatness, safety, and manual dexterity
  • Optimistic approach and willingness to take initiatives
  • Following instructions and problem-solving skills
  • Not permitted: piercings, false eyelashes and nails, makeup, earrings, and nail polish
  • Driving license and own car will be an advantage
  • Willingness to learn Dutch - a necessary condition
