For our client - a chain of car repair shops located in Norway - we are looking for candidates for the position:

 

Tire/Wheel Changer (seasonal work) (F/M)

Location:Bergen, Oslo, Asker, Lillestrøm, Norway

SCOPE OF DUTIES:
  •  work at one of the tire service centers located in Norway
  • tire replacement, fast work, +/- 20-30 minutes
  • tire condition inspection; Tire wear/tread analysis
  • Dismounting wheels and tires from rims
  • Wheel balancing
  • Operating tools and machinery used in the workshop
  • Operating the tire warehouse/storage area (optional)
  • Teamwork
we offer:
  • Employment under Norwegian conditions
  • Hourly rate depending on experience: 206NOK-227NOK gross/hour
  • Salary paid monthly
  • Bonus after the season: 6250NOK
  • Work from Monday to Saturday with the possibility of overtime (approximately 58 hours of work/week)
  • Possibility of using company accommodation - 285NOK/day (double room)
  • Seasonal work of approximately 4-8 weeks with the possibility of returning in subsequent seasons (after a positive evaluation by the client)
  • Working hours: 8am-7pm Monday to Saturday Thursday, 8am-5pm on Fridays and 9am-2pm on Saturdays.

sought competences:
  • Experience in a similar position or in a technical position and willingness to undergo vocational training
  • Professional education (tire fitter, mechanic) - preferred
  • Ability to operate a tire changer, wheel balancer, wrenches (pneumatic, torque), lifts, or other tools
  • Knowledge of English - preferred
  • Category B driving license - required
