For our client – a logistics company distributing dry and deep-frozen products – we are looking for candidates for the position:

Order picker (F/M) (freezer/refrigerated warehouse)
Location: Evergem, Belgium

Scope of responsibilities

work in a warehouse handling frozen and dry products
permanent work position in a freezer (-18°C)
picking orders
storing pallets on racks
assistance with other warehouse tasks (e.g., packing orders) depending on demand
shift work (permanent night shift)

Sought-after competences

Experience in a similar position
Experience operating an EPT forklift
Communicative English
Ability to work in a team
Willingness and ability to work in low temperatures
Experience working in a freezer/cold store would be an advantage
Category B driving license and own car - preferred

We offer

Employment under Belgian conditions
Salary: €17.81 gross/h + benefits
Shift allowance for work on the morning shift (+€0.63 gross/h) = approx. €18.44 gross/h Shift allowance for work on the afternoon shift (+€0.71 gross/h) = approx. €18.52 gross/h +10% hourly allowance for work in cold conditions
approx. €530 Net/week (before accommodation costs are deducted)

Guaranteed 38 hours of work per week

Overtime work possible

Company cars are provided free of charge and come with a fuel card
- Cars may only be used for commuting to and from work
- Bicycle rental is also available for a fee

Possibility of long-term employment (up to 3 years)
Holiday allowance - 15.38% of gross annual earnings
Annual bonus - 8.33% of gross annual earnings - provided you work at least 65 days between July of the current year and June of the following year.
