For our client - a family-owned company from Belgium dealing with transport and logistics in Belgium and the Netherlands - we are looking for candidates for the position:

Truck mechanic

Work location: Stekene, Belgium

engine repair, vehicle diagnostics, car maintenance, oil change, brake system repair, car service, technical inspections, suspension repair, computer diagnostics, parts replacement, engine tuning, exhaust system repair, vehicle mechanics, vehicle servicing, gearbox repair, drive system repair, alignment, car electrical repair, spare parts installation, workshop work

Scope of responsibilities

Truck repair and maintenance
Computer fault diagnosis
Visiting trucks that require repairs en route
Day shift work (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
3/1 shift work - 3 weeks on, 1 week off (possibility of returning to Poland)

Sought-after competences

Mechanical education
Several years of experience in a similar position
Knowledge of truck mechanics and electrical systems
Independence and accuracy
Willingness to learn and improve skills
Manual and technical skills
Category B driving license
Knowledge of English is an advantage

We offer

Employment under Belgian conditions
Guaranteed 38 hours of work per week
Salary: €19.57 gross/hour
Holiday allowance - 15.38% of gross annual earnings
Annual bonus - 8.33% of gross annual earnings – provided you work at least 65 days between July of the current year and June of the following year.
Food voucher of €3.22 gross per day
Possible overtime work (approx. 50 hours per week), sometimes additional work on Saturday mornings
Possible support from a Polish coordinator
Possible use of company accommodation paid for by the employer
Possible purchase of additional health insurance - €10 per month
Work in a 3/1 schedule (3 weeks on, 1 week off) - the employer offers free shuttle buses to northern Poland
