Truck mechanic (F/M)

Scope of responsibilities
 
  • Truck repair and maintenance
  • Computer fault diagnosis
  • Visiting trucks that require repairs en route
  • Day shift work (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
  • 3/1 shift work - 3 weeks on, 1 week off (possibility of returning to Poland)
Sought-after competences
 
  • Mechanical education
  • Several years of experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of truck mechanics and electrical systems
  • Independence and accuracy
  • Willingness to learn and improve skills
  • Manual and technical skills
  • Category B driving license
  • Knowledge of English is an advantage
We offer
 
  • Employment under Belgian conditions
  • Guaranteed 38 hours of work per week
  • Salary: €19.57 gross/hour
  • Holiday allowance - 15.38% of gross annual earnings
  • Annual bonus - 8.33% of gross annual earnings – provided you work at least 65 days between July of the current year and June of the following year.
  • Food voucher in the amount of €3.22 gross daily
  • Overtime work possible (approx. 50 hours per week), sometimes additional work on Saturday mornings
  • Possibility of using a Polish coordinator
  • Possibility of using company accommodation paid for by the employer

  • Possibility of purchasing additional health insurance - 11 euros per month

  • Work in a 3/1 system (3 weeks of work, 1 week off) - the employer offers free buses to northern Poland

  • Company cars are provided free of charge and equipped with a fuel card

    • Cars may only be used for commuting to and from work.
    • It is also possible to rent a bicycle for commuting for a fee.
